Two new Equipe series added to the ICA range
Figueroles (Castellón), Spain – ICA’s expansion over the last two years is marked by the growth in staff numbers (currently 38) and the increasing range of tiles available, which can be admired at the ICA Inspiration and Design Centre.
In addition to our existing range, last month we added two beautiful wall tile series from the Spanish manufacturer Equipe which are already available to buy from a number of our partners. One of the series is Tribeca. The name relates to a trendy neighbourhood in New York’s Manhattan where artists and creatives gather for inspiration. The district is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and industrial style buildings, boutiques and art galleries.
The series consists of 10 colours (including yellow, green, light and dark blue, black and pink) and is characterised by its beautiful V4 nuance. The tiles display a more noticeable sheen than the average Equipe wall tile and have a different size. Most of Equipe’s wall tiles are available in sizes 7.5 x 30 cm and 6.5 x 20 cm. The Tribeca is also rectangular but is 6 × 24.6 cm. The series has now arrived at the warehouse in Druten and initial reactions are favourable.
In addition to the Tribeca, Equipe launched another fantastic wall tile this year: the Arrow. With an elongated hexagon design, this tile is reminiscent of a stretched arrow, measures 5 x 25 cm and comes in no less than 14 colours. The tile is water-repellent, possesses a V2 nuance and is available only in gloss. This series has also been brought to the attention of various partners and is already for sale online.
