Retail takes off with delivery of 100 mood walls to ICA
Starnmeer – One hundred mood walls have arrived at the ICA warehouse after a long journey by truck. The walls will play a crucial part in relaunching the retail collection by inspiring and injecting energy into the revamp. Other exciting new additions include our online platform for dealers, the new ICA website (under construction) and the modern, user-friendly design tool, which makes it easy for clients to design spaces such as bathrooms and living rooms.
The first 100 of hopefully many more mood walls have been placed in the merchandising hall for now. The walls were manufactured for ICA by Van Dik Hout Decor, a renowned group of designers and builders of sets, interiors and booths. Aside from ICA’s specially commissioned mood walls, these specialists have also created sets for film, theatre and television as well as interiors for restaurants, museums, shows, fairs, events and presentations.
The ICA field sales team has started visiting tile dealers and retailers in our network to take a closer look at their product ranges. In addition to a turnover analysis, physical stores have also been assessed to estimate sales potential. The ultimate goal is to bring the mood wall concept to market. Initial reactions have been wonderful.
